Our Specialized Intensive Care Units

Because critical illness affects patients differently at different stages of life, we maintain separate, highly specialized units tailored to adults, children, and newborns.

1
ICU

Intensive Care Unit

For critically ill adults

Our adult ICU is designed to treat patients suffering from severe, life-threatening illnesses or injuries that require constant medical observation and advanced life-support systems.

Who It Is For

Adults recovering from major surgeries, severe trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, sepsis, or multi-organ failure.

Expert Care

Maintained with a strict 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring every subtle change is instantly detected and managed by our senior intensivists.

Advanced Capabilities

  • Advanced mechanical ventilators & continuous cardiac monitoring
  • Hemodynamic monitoring for real-time blood pressure & cardiac output
  • BiPAP / CPAP machines for non-invasive ventilation support
  • Bedside dialysis (CRRT) for acute kidney failure management
2
NICU

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

For premature & critically ill newborns

The NICU is a highly specialized, sterile environment dedicated entirely to the care of our most fragile patients: newborn babies.

Who It Is For

Infants born prematurely, those with low birth weight, babies experiencing breathing difficulties at birth, or newborns with congenital infections or surgical needs.

Expert Care

Staffed by expert neonatologists and pediatric nurses, we treat the newborn while also providing comprehensive emotional support and daily counseling for parents.

Advanced Capabilities

  • Level-III NICU with state-of-the-art neonatal incubators for temperature regulation
  • Specialized infant ventilators calibrated for newborn respiratory physiology
  • Phototherapy units for the treatment of severe neonatal jaundice
  • Advanced neonatal monitoring systems for continuous vital sign tracking

PICU

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

For critically ill infants, children & adolescents

The PICU provides the highest level of care for critically ill children. Children are not just 'small adults' — their bodies react differently to illness and trauma, requiring specialized pediatric protocols.

Who It Is For

Children suffering from severe asthma attacks, acute infections (meningitis, pneumonia), pediatric trauma, poisoning, or those recovering from complex pediatric surgeries.

Expert Care

Overseen by experienced pediatric intensivists, the PICU is designed to be as comforting as possible, minimising trauma and stress for both the child and their family.

Advanced Capabilities

  • Pediatric-sized life-support equipment calibrated for a child's physiology
  • Non-invasive ventilation & specialized respiratory support
  • Drug-delivery systems precisely calibrated for a child's weight and age
  • Pediatric intensivists on duty 24×7 for immediate critical interventions

Infection Control & Visitor Guidelines

Patients in our critical care units are highly vulnerable to infections. We kindly request all family members to cooperate with the following protocols to ensure patient safety and promote rapid healing.

Restricted Visiting Hours

Visiting is limited to designated Morning and Evening slots to ensure patients receive uninterrupted rest and medical care.

Limited Visitors

Only one or two designated family members are allowed inside the unit at any given time.

Strict Hygiene Protocols

All visitors must wash hands thoroughly and use provided sanitizers, gowns, shoe covers, and masks before entering.
